Most car guys have a favorite movie car chase scene or two. I have always loved "Bullitt". But there is a really good one in "Ronin", a couple great chases in the "Mission Impossible" franchise (Fallout is one of them). Several appear in various James Bond movies. There is a good one in "The Italian Job" and a great one in "Jason Bourne".

What are your favorites?

The film "Baby Driver" has several good car chase scenes.

@perrone1 Tony, which Italian Job do you prefer?

Michael Caine

or Mark Wahlberg?

I like the car chase in "The 7-Ups" starring Roy Scheider.  The driver of the big Pontiac was the same guy who drove the Charger in Bullitt.

The movie "Ronin" had an awesome car chase as well.

@paul-rouffa GREAT question Paul!! I really like both of them but my favorite is the Wahlburg film with Jason Statham and Donald Sutherland but also because of Charlize Theron!!

@jack-dodds Yes, 7-UPS was terrific. Did NOT realize the two drivers were the same - but that's right as I envision his face!! And Ronin was one of my original unforgettable picks - great film! (What's in da Kaese  -  sorry; that's my best Gaelic)

Wow Jack, forgot about the 7-Ups. The end of the chase freaks me out even now.

No kidding!  It was unusual in that the bad guys won that round.  When Scheider emerged from the wreck his look and shocked demeanor looked very authentic.

That was terrific Paul. We love Buster Keaton around here - we have several of his movie collections. Enjoy Fatty Arbuckle in them as well.
