Nice!  I'm getting the impression you love to fish, JB.  What style of fishing do you enjoy the most?

surf-casting for it`s heart pounding role-reversal possibility and the abrasive,yet renewing pound of the surf......Vs......paid catfishing with it`s La-z-boy-at-the-bar conviviality and minimal effort output

Ha!  That does sound exciting; as you showed us when that nasty little wave soaked you!  I've never fished like that but I'll bet it is entertaining!  What kind(s) of fish would you be landing at the OBX?

@jack-dodds        mostly sharks, with a predominance of 1 to 2 footers....also sting rays, and other species that feed off the shallow water youngsters (the ones that ride the rolls of the waves in,around and beyond the breakers until they can grow up enough to survive swimming in deeper water)....some times an obstinate crab just flat refuses to unhand your bait until you`ve beached it......at which time it lets go of your bait, casts you a look of disdain and then catches the next wave out......on occasion you hook into something that hits like a juggernaut....never once twitching or slowing it`s unrelenting pace as it runs out a hundred yards of your 60# test line until it snaps off the spool......you wonder if some of these monoliths ever knew you were even there at all......some of the stuff is nightmarish....you just want it to go back where it came from so you can begin forgetting your ever saw it......
