Thoughts and prayers go out to Florida residents impacted by this catastrophic hurricane. Scenes of destruction are heartbreaking. Hoping that rescue and various state and federal aid resources are available asap. I know we have several Forum members who reside in Florida; please check in when you are able; although I do appreciate it may be some time before certain areas are back in service. God bless.

Yes indeed, wishing all the best to those in Florida. Of the handful of people I know who live there, all are well..thank God!

Horrible weather over much of North America this year. My brother in Naples was very lucky but many of his friends in Florida had severe damage. Similar problems for a few of my friends in Newfoundland and PEI. These climactic events are not getting any easier. My thoughts and wishes go to all those experiencing losses.

We were supposed to be the folks who were hit, but it went south. We're not home because we did an end run to avoid what thankfully didn't happen.

We just arrived in Jacksonville. They got a good deal of rain and some wind but things seem in nice shape. We have family in Orlando. All are well there. I hear the Gulf Coast, particularly to the south, has historic damage. These folks need our prayers and support!
