Following on from Steve's post - favourite cars born the same year...what would you pick?
I have three - Jaguar XK120, Hillman Minx MkV and Citroen 2CV. The first two featured at the 1948 Earls Court Motor Show and the 2CV at the Paris show. I could have picked Morris Minor also but will stick to my top three.
I've never owned the 1:1, but here it is: (pic)

That's beautiful David.
WHAT CARS WERE MADE IN 1938 ??
Being raised in a part of the world that was a catchment for both American and British cars trucks and bikes, I feel fortunate to be spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a favourite from my birth year - 1947.
That being so, I'll just have to say, "one of each, please" and be done with it.
