56. The two tone paint, more cohesive side chrome, and reduced chrome grill speak to me.

The '53 for me. Not so much the gatemouth '56. Although at a car show lately the same model '56 won the peoples choice ride of the show. Lovely in glacier white with a roof painted a contrasting shade - a fresh US import, no less.
