The CONTINENTAL MARK II
"Classic Styling with Modern Amenities".
This was as unique a look for an American car as a unique look could get. There was never another American car that shared this body style and look. It was beautiful!
In this incredible story by CARS & PARTS magazine writer BOB STEVENS, he relates history, facts and photographs that reflect the importance of this Lincoln based car that holds a place in the hearts of all who remembers it.

These two are both lovely cars; I would choose the Continental because of its rarity.
Brush, I agree with you. The 56 Premier is one of my all time favorite cars and at a fraction of the cost of the Mark II.
I've always liked the Premiere for '56 better than the Continental, but from a "one of" perspective in styling for the Fifties decade, I'd love to have one. I've got the Franklin Mint black 1:24 and it for sure stands out on my shelves.
Back to the Premiere for a second, it's always been my opinion that it, along with the '56 Cadillac, that they are the two most beautifully styled cars from any decade of American cars.

Sorry George, but the '56 Premiere and the '57 Caddy series 62 are the 2 most beautiful designed cars of the '50s. I guess we agree to disagree.
@brush, no problem my friend. America!
