What a great looking car ! It wonderful this Dodge is still around and running strong.
Wow......a gorgeous car; especially in those colors. I never knew there had been a "Matador" back then. I wish they had shown more of the interior.
"Matador," a new one on me for that year. Great video. Anyone know the background of the nameplate for that year?

What a prize he has. I love my red 1/43 scale model of this car.

Beautiful car.
"So that's a Matador!" Remember that 70s jingle?
I never knew this model Dodge existed. Thanks.

Doesn't explain where the name came from. However AMC liked it enough to use it for a while 1971 to 1978 I believe.
@jkuvakas John, the 1960 Dodge Matador shared the body of the slightly more well-appointed and luxurious Polara. The trim differed, but it was essentially the same car.
The Matador and Polara were full-sized cars and were complemented by the slightly smaller Dodge Dart lineup.
