This outstanding article in Hemmings CLASSIC CAR magazine by RICHARD LENTINELLO covering the BUICK-OLDSMOBILE-PONTIAC (aka B-O-P) Society is one that, if you love this incredible trio of cars from General Motors, has something for all of you.

We all know how the eventual story for Oldsmobile and Pontiac turned out, but we also have fascinating memories of both marques.  I found this coverage of the B-O-P, interesting and informative.  Hope you will too.

Author Richard Lentinello by the way, is one of the most respected automotive historians in the car business.  He's had many award winning stories and books published.  He has just this month launched his brand new magazine, CRANKSHAFT that literally covers every taste in automobile.

Thanks for this George, very interesting. I would love to see Goldvarg do the early 60s Olds F-85, Cutlass, Pontiac Tempest, Buick Special and Skylark, Chevelle; Merc Comet and S-22; all in 2dr.  Sergio did a great job of the Buick Special wagon last year and the Chevy Nova and 61 Comet coming up soon look like winners so more of this mid-size would sure be appreciated!

@jack-dodds

I was always fascinated with the F-85, the Skylark, and the Tempest.  When I was a pre-teen in the very early 60's, they seemed to be the cars we were supposed have.
