Very interesting articles on several topics ! I, too, would also like to see some 1:43 Diamond-T pickups, and, although it's not a likely candidate due to being a one-off, I would love to see a 1:43 replica of the incredibly cool 1946 Diamond-T woody wagon that my grandfather (Arch Danielson) was lead chassis engineer on for Diamond-T.

Thanks for posting this again.  Lots of interesting information.  I was especially interested in Mike's reply regarding the Diamond T woody.

Thanks ! Here's a couple of other pages from the same article. The first picture I posted of the side view of the Diamond-T woody station wagon was taken right here near me in Riverside, IL, no doubt because Grandpa Danielson and his family (including my Mom) were in Riverside a few blocks away at their home . Both houses are still going strong but the Diamond-T station wagon has been lost in time since the Fifties it seems.

Great and thanks!   I didn't know of the Diamond T wagon, but I have seen a couple of the 1947-48 pickups.  Lots of visual impact there!

You're welcome, David. Those Diamond-T pickups look fantastic ! They certainly would make wonderful models in any scale, perhaps the most likely being 1:43, and I would love to see them done.
