To me it is fun just to see the different imaginations at work and I do try to have fun with this.

You do a great job of finding the oddball stuff, Dick.

That being said, I, personally, would like to see your postings that consist of pictures only, to be consolidated into fewer postings. Put them all in one or two and allow other folk's postings to be read, rather than pushed down the page by multiple postings of one or two pictures each.

You have a lot to offer, Dick and we all appreciate your contributions.

Frankly, there can be no doubt that many enjoy your postings. There is no dispute about that. To your credit, you've always been contrite too. However, there is also no dispute you've also chased away a lot of people too. Sorry, I hope this doesn't start a fight because that isn't my intention. But it would be dishonest to ignore that's a raw fact. I have to question the motivation of periodically asking this question. The cynic in me suggests its purpose is so you can get a validation to continue what you've always done while ignoring the complaints.

I have to agree with John here, Dick. I doubt that there are any followers of the Diecast Zone who aren't familiar with most of the cars you show in your posts, so I just see little point to posting a large collection of photos of cars with no point, discussion, or context.

We all know what '57 Oldses or Squarebirds look like, so why the constant parade of photos of collectible cars? If you run across a car that few are likely to have seen, or some interesting customs or one-offs, that's different. But the frequent "A few (insert car name here), enjoy" is getting a little old.

I don't wish to offend you or anyone who enjoys the photos. You asked for feedback, and I appreciate that. Anyway, it's just my opinion and everyone has their own thoughts on the topic.

Finally, as John wrote, multiple postings in succession has the effect of pushing other peoples' posts further down the screen, which means that some of them don't get read or seen by occasional visitors, and we do want to keep this site growing. Thanks for reading.
