A veritable smorgasbord for the songbirds, chipmunks, squirrels and rodents. But in these here parts, our raucous raccoon population would run evrything off, devour the food and chew up the wooden vessels and demand more, higher dollar culinary treats! The impertinent buggers!

That spread wouldn't last 5 minutes in our backyard. We don't have raccoons, but we have aggressive squirrels. It's taken a few years and a considerable amount spent on bird feeders, but we finally found two that work like a charm. Now we have two feeders hung right off our deck, and the squirrels have learned to pick their seeds up from the ground.
