I'm trying to take apart this Danbury Mint model.  The glue seems "superglue" strength.  Any suggestions?

do you have a CA glue remover on hand that you might try in a discrete area?

Sorry, John, but I don't.  I looked for one at my local Lowe's yesterday and they had nothing in stock.

ok.....I am not certain if the pewter line uses a Cyanoacrylate type of "super glue" (CA).....but if they do,here`s a very good product for dealing with CA glue....I would wait to hear from the pewter crowd,in case a different type of glue is used for pewter cars

Thank you, John.  This debonder sounds like just what I need.  I have ordered it.  I appreciate your recommendation.  David

I hope it works as needed for you David......make sure to seal the jar tightly after using......it has penetrating and leeching properties similar to WD-40....I`d put a few drops on a glue joint, wait 60 seconds or so,check for movement of the glue weld like you would a loose tooth.....this process can be repeated as needed multiple times....3 times has been the upper limit for me
