Lol. Young kids today.....they have no idea how we struggled!
I know people here are quit a bit older than me but, I can remember before transistor radios (1957) [they were all large with tubes] and we did not have a TV and our first was an 8" screen in a large box bought in Western Auto with terrible reception and we were only 65 miles from N.Y.. Had to put an antenna in a tall tree next to the house to get the three networks and 2 independents. All N.Y. stations. Rabbit ears even with the tin foil only got one station N.H..
Tree - 2-WCBS,4-WNBC,5-WNEW?,7-WABC, 11-WPIX
Rabbit ears - 8-WTNH- now WNHC abc
And there was no remote control !!

And... You had to get your butt off of the sofa / couch to ... Heaven forbid... manually change the channel or fidget with the antenna for better reception !!
Those were the days..😂✅
