Good advice ! Then, have a good strong cup of coffee before you go out to shovel the snow off your driveway yet again....
@100ford2003 OR being retired you find you do not need the strong coffee as there is no outside stress to deal with, and when the sun comes out, even if it is three days later, you get on your tractor and blow/throw the snow away and enjoy the beautiful snow covered trees as you ride around. Heck mine even has power steering. Plus watch my dog run and play in it.
I am a hermit/recluse totally alone except for Cora. Don't remember when I got her, 1.5 to 2 years ago from the Humane Society, she was supposed to be 7 years old then.
The right ear and right upper lip and the upper right k9 tooth all experience some kind of trauma before I got her.
Dogs in retirement:
Archie Siberian Husky, had him as a puppy 5 months before retirement
Bear Rottweiler, German Sheppard mix rescue, pal for Archie.
The boys together foe 10 years.
For the second 10 years there was Lori, Rescue got her at 4 years old, mixed breed,
WHY AM i CRYING??
Now Cora.
Love dogs, hate that their lives are too short. Lots of great memories though.
My wife and I have been rescuing dogs and cats for the 57 years we have been married. Love the fur babies. Cora is beautiful and the two of you are lucky to have each other.
