Sadly, there is more truth in that humor than you may think. Back in my lending days at the bank, I we often had women that come in to inquire about a car loan, and when asked what make/year the car they are looking to purchase, we'd get an answer something like this, "It's red and white". There were variations to those types of answers, but you get the idea.
