Kelly and I were talking about our next service on our white VW. It has served us well and was coming up on 120,000 miles. The next service was going to cost $2600. I had been watching a Chevy Blazer sit in one of our local dealer's lot for over two months. I knew they would be eager to sell it. I thought I would go down and see what kind of deal I could swing. Kelly's only question was, "It's not too loud and will attract the attention of the police, will it?" She knows I have a "heavy foot" and indulges my need for speed as long as I don't get tickets...(many). Several hours of negotiating later...
Mr. JK,
With the 'ticket me red' color you picked I would suggest putting an "I Brake for Jesus" bumper sticker on it.Â

LOL! I, too, recently bought a new car and had two new stickers to go on it. One is the "Thin Blue Line" American flag and the other a "US Army Veteran". When the car was delivered, it was too pretty to put either on. HA!
@perrone1, I feel the same way about stickers. Many of them are good and worthy of notice but I am always hesitant to disrupt the design lines.Â
When we bought my daughter her first car, she had it for a few days when I came up our driveway to see her placing stickers for her favorite bands all along the trunk and rear bumper. I walked over and said, "Think about this for a few days. If you move on to other bands, these stickers are going to be hard to remove." She said, "No, Dad. I'll never get tired of these groups." Six months later, I was out there with a blow dryer helping her remove stickers. I think it was the first time I ever heard her say, "You were right, Dad." She hasn't put a sticker on her car ever since.Â

Terrific, or should I say, "H U A" ! (Army slang for Heard Understood Acknowledged)Â
