JOHNNY CASH
If given the choice to sit and talk with any man alive or dead, the Man in Black would be my guy!
Johnny was a man of contradiction and conviction to himself and God. He was deep in values, strong with words, and he wrestled with doubt and uncertainty, yet was committed to many causes and had a heart for what is right. Oh yea, I'd love to just chat with him.
His music talks to me. His stories have feeling and meaning. It feels like he's singing/talking just to me. There is no music artist past or present that has ever captivated my interest like Johnny Cash. Every record, tape, CD, DVD, and book are among my personal cherished belongings. I'd part with none of them.

George...are you saying that you've also done time in Folsom prison? 
Just kidding......there certainly are such songs and/or artists that trigger thoughts, reactions and memories. It is very enjoyable for the most part.
