It's been a long time since my last Lincoln (mid 80's), but this one could at least get me into the showroom. (Just kidding. My PT Cruiser has only 60,000 miles on it and is only 15 years old.)

David, I've never even ridden in a Lincoln.

The closet we've had was a 1970 Ford LTD Brougham, 429cid, 4bbl, maroon with black vinyl top.
We loved that car.

But this car is a beauty.

My father-in-law was a Lincoln fan. He lent me his '89 Town Car...

...for a weekend trip to Philly; 200+ mile round trip. I was singularly unimpressed with the car. I was expecting much more from Lincoln, but it was in no way superior to the Impala I owned at the time. He was anxious to hear my impressions of his Townie. He was convinced I was pulling his leg when I told him what I thought. For years afterward he'd ask, "But what did you really think?"

His was similar to this...

It has to be built as a convertible.

Doors back resemble a Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

I heard that Matthew McConaughey personally recommends it!

Jerry, my wife was in real estate and drove some great sedans, including the Lincoln, a Buick Electra, and, my favorite, a '93 Chrysler Imperial. Those were the years when I was commuting in Mustangs, mostly bright red. The Cruiser was my retirement gift to myself, and I'm still enjoying it, recently at the rate of about 3,000 miles per year.

David, Most of my cars are at least 15 years old. They cause few of the problems. The Benz's are a pain in the rear they are an 2000,2002,2004 & 2 2005's the 09 Acura or 11 Altima work fine with few messages they need something. Going back the 92 MR-2 & 88 Celica GT are most reliable and the 95 Acura GSR 96 Camaro SS & 96 Cadillac Limousine are problem free. The 90 Miata & 88 Pontiac Fiero GT are bullet proof. My 56 and 55 Packards are very elementary and easy to fix as is the 65 T-Bird Special Landau.
