If you love old cars, catch the 1950's TV show "Highway Patrol" on MeTV. From just a cars standpoint, the show is priceless. I watched the show when it was first run in the 50's, but now enjoying the reruns even more. It stars Broderick Crrawford and the acting in the show is not the best, but the cars in every scene of every show, steal the show. Check it out!

George, I have watched this old show many times and agree with you.

I recall first watching it as a young boy, when Crawford was driving his unmarked '58 Buick sedan. I LOVED the show back then and have recently watched the episodes where they had the 2dr. 55 Buicks. Brutal acting at times but fun to watch all the same.

Good show. Didn't like Crawford though.

I've heard from a cameraman that worked on the show that Crawford enjoyed quite a few shots between takes and that immediately after a take would head over to his trailer. And that the car he'd be in was towed as the studio didn't want him to actually be driving. Don't know how true this all is though.

I had heard years ago that he was a huge drinker.
