In The Netherlands another 10 years to go if you want to buy a new ICE-car.

UK is 2035, Norway 2025, France 2040.
After that it's goodbye ....

What is an ICE car? Are these equipt with ultra-cold A/C to cope with global warming?

Yes, of course, thank you David. News of an impending gas shortage has yet to reach me. So it could get to be like the times we experienced in the 1970's with long lines at filling stations? OMG, once was enough.

The Netherlands have fuel limitations very different from the USA. I'm sure I don't understand their present situation, but it somehow seems natural gas is their primary shortage.

There is this big pipeline that originates in Russia that feeds untold amounts of natural gas into Europe. Germany is a big user.
Right now the pipeline Nordstream 2, is being re-routed so that it is less vulnerable to any mischief that could cause disruptions due in some part to a changing political landscape up there.

That's idiots and socialists for you. Their thought process is "How can we con people and how can we ban and/or tax everything ?"

I don't believe so mike. There are almost inexhaustible amounts of natural gas in Russia and a European market needing the stuff and happy to pay for it. Besides, nobody sanctions anybody up there, in this example, they all work cooperatively to achieve common goals and benefits.

LOL, no. You apparently are missing one of the main points.

What main point do you think I have missed then - do tell, I'm interested - seriously.
