My father owned 2 of these, I drove the second one for few years after my Lada was stollen and just before I moved to the US in 1999. The question " Is this the worst car ever made?" can only be answer in the contexts of the times and environment this car was made and driven ...

Plus.....in order to choose fairly, one simply MUST drive all the others prior to making a choice.
As good luck would have it, I researched our corporate files and found a picture of the day the prize 1-horsepower Trabant SS Coupe was delivered to the winner....whose name I will respectfully not disclose.
somewhere west of Aspen?
The rear half is....yes. The rest, let's call it the front bumper area, had been redesigned in an incident in Warsaw rush hour apparently.

It was even questionable if Trabi was a car? Some were saying that Trabi was a motorcycle with bench.

Chav and JB; In fairness to our prize winner, let us keep in mind that his Trabant was the rare and coveted, fully optioned, Super Sport version.....not the comparatively mundane Standard Coupe. I daresay that in these times of runaway gas prices, our anonymous prize winner will be grinning from ear to ear.....which could turn into a grimace should a gas leak develop I suppose.
Watched the video but could not finish it ... apparently done by typical spoiled affluent millennial with no respect to other cultures and history. The Trabi is actually quite a funny car, no wonder it's a huge relic from the old socialist times. For me is very sentimental too, it brings priceless memories ... speeding through town at 3 am with my pregnant sister who just broke her waters on the front seat, and my wife and my sister's boyfriend on the backseat giving instructions... for $3000 I would buy one if I had space to store it.

"In fairness to our prize winner"...................oh great,ANOTHER new policy 🤨
@john-barry Well, not much V-8 but.....we have C-8, the corporate mansion, yacht and "support staff" so we will get through this. Exile is such a strong word.
