July 10 rt hip replacement, July 24, dislocate new hip, August 8 infection in new hip, August 13 hip replacement replaced. Now 6 weeks of intravenous antibiotic [takes 4 hours per day - two 2 hr twice a day] treatment.
I'm getting close to the bionic man with 3 knees and 2 hips [same hip twice].
Isn't old age fun. Still in good spirits though. But between the hospital and with my confuzzer in the basement dungeon, have not been on line much.
Just keeping you posted.
Thanks Bruce
Hang in there, Bruce. I've had a touch (one knee) of your problems, and it's no fun. Getting a new model always seems to help (or so I told my wife.)
Hope to see you fully recovered and well, Bruce. We miss you, brother!

Great to see you remain in good spirits...so important. Take care!
Did she kick you in the knee for saying that or did the replacement come first?
Take good care of yourself.
Good luck with your recovery. I'm guessing your days of getting through airport security are over..
Bruce I pray you get stronger and better ... Very sorry for your pain
Been there with my (infected) hip replacement. Not fun...
...had to have emergency surgery on my birthday. The good
news is that it will be over eventually. I had the pic lines
in my arm for six weeks also.
