I was thinking that he was going to say something like "I hope I remembered to shut the stove off when I left home".
Jump out a perfectly good space craft and onto the surface of the moon? I'd have said "You first!"

Little known secret: When Armstrong stepped out of the "Eagle" and onto the moon's surface, Aldrin started the Eagle's engines and locked the door. Pretty sure Neil soiled in his space suit!!

HA! I can't believe that Armstrong fell for the old "can you go have a quick check to see if the brake lights are working?" line.
