Yeah; the old 'Flying Start". Outlawed by the NHRA as unsportsmanlike, it's only seen in rare photos!  (Fun shot Terry!)

I was joking actually. There have been some drag racing starts that caused all four tires to leave the ground - most involved wheelie bars that are not in evidence here though, And I saw one where the car was bouncing and the car left the ground. In a wheelie, if air catches the car it may go airborn. Look at 2:08 of this video. Then it replays.
