Once past the 1964 and '65 body styles, I didn't care for the later GTO's as much. The '68 Charger, however, was long, lean and fittingly mean. Hence my itty bitty vote today.

Not many can out do the 68 Charger for me.  The 68;GTO comes close but… 😎👍

The beautiful, brawny Charger by a fair margin over the very nice GTO.  Best Charger ever made.

The Charger is too beautiful not to win.

Charger!

And let's not forget, Dodge also offered the Coronet R/T to compete with the Pontiac GTO in 1968...talk about a 1-2 punch! And it's MOPAR with the KO!

Two beautiful and iconic muscle cars ! The respective automakers were firing on all cylinders with these two classics.

@perrone1  Tony what you said except the years, for me Pontiac GTO '65 - '67.

No contest Charger by a mile. Mid-size, my favorites:

1. '68 Charger

2. '68 Coronet

3. '66 GTO

4. '70 GTX

I'm with you Bruce. The '64 to '67 GTO, for me were gorgeous, the '68 started the bulky look, I always thought. Your mid-size faves are spot on too!

Wow !!! Thanks John !!! Those are two of my most favorite body style cars ever. Of course as everyone knows they were brand new body styles for that year. I have to confess I cannot decide between either so I had to vote tie.
