JUST FOR THE "FIN" OF IT

I like the "fins" era in general, so it's really hard to pick a favorite, but the "horizontal rocket" fins on the 1959 Oldsmobile, the 1958 and 1959 Dodge fins and the 1960 Cadillac ones are also right up there.

I'm with you on it being hard to choose.  I too, like the fin era and agree with you on the '59 Oldsmobile.  I've always been a huge fan of General Motors '59 line-up of cars.  I think the "Bat-Fin's of the Chevy are classic.

George I agree with two of your choices the 59 Buick and 60 Chrysler. My third choice is the  quirky 61 Dodge Polara.

MY CAR! The 1959 Cadillac! Period!

On the overstated side my fave fin is the '57 Dodge.  On the understated side it's a tie between the '57 and '62 Cadillac.

These are my favorites:  1959 Chevrolet gull wings, 1959 Buick delta wings, and the 1957 Cadillac reverse-slant fins.

Oh, I'd agree with you on the '61 Dodge Polara.  Those "reverse" fins are spectacular!
