With the world in chaos around us and the price of oil threatening to go through the roof again, let me just remind you of something that is close to the hearts of forumeers everywhere and can keep us firmly in the saddle and offer us unbridled pleasure in our daily lives - the horse-drawn Trabant.
And I don't want to hear a word from any naysayers. That would simply make me bridle.
(Sorry. Far too much horsing around and far too many bad puns in one post. Just got the bit between my teeth and couldn't stop. It never reins but it pours).

Hay! That was not only funny, it gives me the nagging foaling that the Trabant is mare capable than we thought.

Hay Graeme, like you I am a devout fan of the 1 h.p. Trabant SS Demi-Coupe....I could never be a neighsayer. IMHO it's a cinch to win Best Alfalfa Fueled Car Of The Year again; which ought to prompt that noisy stable of animal activists to put a bit in it and their automotive journalist supporters to rein in any of their shoddy negative comments.
@jkuvakas I canter disagree with your opinion JK; oats guys like you that help to advance the equine energy revolution. You sir are a prance among us and deserve to be herd far and wide until your voice becomes horse to stirrup support.
Thanks for the morning smile Graeme.

Well....you will recall from our high speed test trials that it had a lot of giddyup!
@jack-dodds, not bad when you consider it used only 1/8 of a bale of hay in over 30 miles. That 240 MPH!

What is with these idle kids? They should be immersed in their cell phones or indoors playing violent video games or shoplifting at the mall!
Well, I'm pleased to see the Think Tanked Awards Committee finally got around to responding. I was beginning to think there might be a little bit of NIH resentment at work but obviously that is just my default paranoid state kicking in. It behooves me to offer an unreserved apology.
