My first car with power windows was a '77 Pontiac Bonneville.

BTW, the last car I purchased with crank windows was a new '93 Saturn SL Coupe.

Yes sir David, I believe you are 100% right.

In case you were unaware though, the FM model's crank really works and cranks the scale windows up and down. Our LECC of the same car with trailer - did the same:

we later had a '60 Caddy. It was a white convertible. I took my driver's license test in that car!

Nice! My Dad drove nothing but Cadillacs but always 4 door hardtops.... he never liked the coupes or convertibles.  Taking a driver's test in a '60 Caddy 'vert would've been heaven for me (I owned a '59 CDV for many years ).

I have NO IDEA what car I used for my DL test...but I know it wasn't a white 1960 Cadillac convertible!

Chris, that was about 62 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday  -  I actually struggled to go through the 'serpentine course' (around & through pylons) at the minimum speed. I was cautioned that I was going too slow and needed to speed up some. I thought I was steering a battleship through a slalom course! True story!

No, I passed but the exam officer warned me that I was going too slow early on so I sped up just enough.

I would have sworn that the front bumper passed through the last cone as the tail end was still at the beginning!  Laughing Out Loud
