Can't find it. Sorry.

I talked to the lady sitting by the car to express my likes. She tells me that it was a birthday gift to her son. He was turning 15 which is a coming of age b'day in his culture sort of like a young girls quinceanera. He was offered an amazing b'day party or a car. A family friend had the 'bird for sale and he chose the car !

He is now 36 yrs old ! The T-Bird is still registered in his and his Mom's name. If he and his wife ever split up the car will stay in his family !

What a good, fun talk I had with them.

Steve

The Kaiser is fascinating!   Not the open-hatchback (a rare car!), but the Darrin replica inside it.  I wish it had been out for photos!   Many thanks!

Hello David, the next time it's there I won't hesitate to ask the owner.

Thanks Steve. This is a really interesting series of cars. It would have been great to talk to the owners. Lots of questions.

@david-green

It's hit or miss. Sometimes the owners are by their cars most of the show. Or they're checking out the show so you don't know who the owner is.

But if the owner's there, talk when / while you can. The last hour of the show is taken up with raffles and 50-50's. After that most are ready to hightail it home !
