Thoughts? It looks like it’s based on an older Corvette…maybe a C3?

What I know about it is that is a Camaro made into a Firebird.  I believe I read the cost is about $40,000 on top of the actual car.

Nicely done CGI. The cowl looks like a C4 but the t-tops show that it's a clever mix of styling cues.

I would think there would be a market for this as popular as the Bandt cars are.

One can "CGI" anything. This will never be built (OEM) as there's no demand profound enough to justify even thinking about such a move. Cars are dead, "ICE mode" will soon be extinct. Brace yourself for electric Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers & Chargers. Yes, I know Ford has split (ICE & BEV) but the future is clear.

So Chris what makes you think this could not be built as an EV?

@bob-jackman There's several points that would suggest production highly unlikely. Who would build it? GM killed Pontiac; resurrection will never occur. Of the GM makes remaining, marketing would never allow "splits" in offerings; there's simply no profit in that. In addition, true demand for cars is practically zero even in EV/BEV form. Furthermore, the demographic interested in such a car (such as this T/A) is simply too small to pay attention too. Once again, there's no money in it.

The only hope in ever seeing this lies with Camaro conversions such as what we have now. These are pricey because demand isn't there to spread tooling costs and the marginal number of "old guys" who really want one will just pay it.

First quarter 2022 Mustang (a more desirable muscle car than the T/A) production numbers are down about 20% over last year, while MACH E (the "ugly, bloated 'Stang SUV") numbers are up over 35% since April. When one compares buyer's ages, the truth is once again reinforced. "Dying baby-boomers" want Mustangs, "everyone else" wants FASTER MACH Es.

No successful company on earth has a future once their demographic has vanished.
