Though it's been customized some, I'm 100% sure it's mine.  Below are some pics of when I owned it.

What a beauty ! I am delighted to have a couple 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire replicas in 1/18 scale from Yat Ming Signature Series.

George, I concur!  It looks exacty like your car from the pictures you posted.  I see it made its way out to California.  Judging by the license plate, it was registered in California in June of this year.  I definitely like it better in stock form.  When did you sell it?

If you "CLICK" on the photo in my post above, it is a VIDEO of the car.  Finding this, really made my day, as I'd long thought it was no longer with us.

Pete, I owned it for 11 years and sold it in 2001.  During all the years I'd owned it, there was never another like it ever here at Minnesota old car shows.  And never one since.  And if you look at the fender skirts, that is the telltale clue that it's mine, because they are just slightly different in color both when I owned it and on the video version.  My heart is fluttering!  I always called it "The Yacht", as I could barely get it in my garage.  This made my day!

Perfect color! Always loved the front end styling of the 98 for 1962.

George, I did some digging and I found the shopping center where the video of your car was taken.  It's in Huntington Beach, the cross streets are Adams and Magnolia.  I've been to this center many times to eat at a Mexican restaurant there, I can probably find the parking spot! Here's some Google Earth screen shots.

The Smart and Final store across the street you can see in the video behind your car.

Pete, you are amazing!  I've just been giggling all day since that video literally just popped up on my computer.  It is pure coincidence.  THANK YOU for your research.

@michaeldetorrice

I also have a Yat Ming 1:18 scale '62 Oldsmobile.  It's the Maroon one.  It is a replica of the Starfire I owned.  Still to this day, my personal favorite car I've ever owned.

Totally agree!  Any Oldsmobile model in 1:18 or 1:24 is welcome in my collection.
