We've said it before, but we maintain that this will really be the last time we move. Once again, I have to take down the display cabinets and pack the cars. In the past, I've used bubble wrap, but reattaching side mirrors and other tiny pieces on 1/43s (even on some of the 1/18s) is a pain in the butt.

What packing methods have you found work the best?

I don`t have any helpful wrap-n-pack tips for you Paul.......but I greatly admire you for what you`re about to do

horseCarts removing tons of snow after a blizzard in NYC, US in 1899.

For those models in boxes that have side mirrors I have found that cutting small strips/chunks of rigid foam ( from something like a Brooklin foam piece) and wedging it between the model door and box liner provides a protective space for the mirror.  Not too close to the mirror though...give it a bit of wiggle room.  In some cases I place the foam strip on either side of the mirror location if extra protection is required.  This works really well with Conquest models and the like.
