that showed some promise but had some 'stuff' I didn't like so, I did some edits and will share the outcome. Once again, I only do this to see what it looks like and to continually sharpen my editing skills. Not sure how sharp I've become but I do like the outcome(s) better.

With some edits to mostly get rid of the stylistically-challenged exhaust system:
With a bit more cleanup demonstrating my less-is-more philosophy:
I like all three for different reasons. The first one blends three elemental auto styles; a 1953 Corvette body (front & rear) with the top of a 1963 Corvette Split Window. But then, it also combines distinct features of the racing SL Gullwing. Those exhaust pipes and positioning are integral with that design, as are the gullwing doors that come down into the body just so far.
With the original drawing, you have a completely unique concept of the Gullwing SL. In drawing #2 (your first edit), I see a conceptual Corvette design with 'clean' elements of all three influences - '53 & '63 Vette as well as the M-B. In #3 photo, your "less-is-more" philosophy shines bright.
@perrone1: Tony, thanks for the observations and good words, both are appreciated. The added photos indicate that the hood, deck and taillights come from late C1 Corvettes, rather than the earlier '53-55 cars.

You're 1000% correct. The grille is '53 - '55 while the back end is pure C-1 and the lights and rounded rear fender tops from '56 through '60. If I absolutely had to pick one, your last shot would be the bomb! Your skills keep getting better!
