Dick, the Buick just didn't look familiar, but it should have! (pic)
It seems this fastback sedan body was peculiar to the Buick Special.

Unique to Australia where home built bodies were designed and fitted to chassis and running gear imported from GM Canada. This was done to support the local automotive industry.
