What Tony says!...well maybe not all of them

I love older cars with a passion for their character and style but I disagree with them being better. Recently the top mechanism on my 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster went wacko, the carburetor on my Corvette needed rebuilding and the radiator on my Imperial decided to spring a leak. All three maladies have now been fixed which is a good thing but now the speedometer has now decided to take some time off. The best thing I can say is if they were new cars I couldn't fix them myself but then would they have quit working in the first place?

I'll take whatever ones you don't care for John - except a Pontiac Aztec or any form of Yugo. HA!

Ain't it da truth! Well said Bob! I used to love rebuilding carbs and tinkering with easy-to-repair auto parts. Today, you need a degree to reset the clock!

Yeah, I'd like my '70 Trans Am back, but could do without the Opel Kadette.
