Dennis I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is heart wrenching but you can take comfort in knowing that you gave them a loving home in the time you were blessed to share. Lori and I have rescued over a hundred dogs and cats in the fifty four years we have been married. Life would not be complete without our critters.

Oh Dennis, so sorry. My Bubby (pug) died in June 2015, and a month later my wife died.
It was the worst time of my life.
Please know that your pup knew that he was loved!
