Good reading!! I absolutely LOVE the Austin Healey and the Jensen Healey. I have seen the Healey Silverstone a long time ago but didn't know its name or history. Thanks John! You're the best at this!
What a marvellous Healey Silverstone. I’ve loved this car since I first viewed it in the early 1950s, liking the lines even better than the Allard J2. I wish I could have test driven it. Thanks John.
What an extraordinary life in engineering and design. Here's Healey's brief bio from the link in Johns page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Healey
Was really hoping to find a video of it on the road, and yep, here is one:
Killed 'em again John!
I never saw a Silverstone in the flesh but have always been a fan of Austin Healeys having owned two 1956s in 59 and 1960. Austin Healeys, IMO are the most beautifully styled cars of all time.
Love the video. Thanks, GeoffWhat an extraordinary life in engineering and design. Here's Healey's brief bio from the link in Johns page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Healey
