Many years ago on the old Diecast Pub, someone was asking about the various automobiles that Sox and Martin used over the years. There was a discussion about this and I found this old Kodachrome 35mm slide my Dad had taken at the show in 1971 at McCormick Place Chicago.
The photograph was just a general one that is cropped here and shows a car on the Plymouth turntable far in the background. By using my Ertl 1/18 1971 Plymouth GTX (that I later lost to intergranular corrosion) I made a short animation and speculated it was their special '71 Plymouth up on the turntable.
Mike, it's late here where I am and I must admit to not knowing fully what I'm watching. But I understand enough to know the graphic work is brilliant and would love to see more along these lines.
Yeah, pretty cool graphics work. Sorry to learn of that Ertl's fate. I've never known that particular model as being susceptible to diecast-cancer.
