PIC: This is a test. Who can tell me what is wrong or just different with this 58 Edsel ?

There's a woman in the back seat of a convertible and she's not complaining about her hair.

The woman with the backpack is looking at a Kia instead of the Edsel?

Twin rear mount antennas....
It's a lesser model Pacer convertible but with Citatation trim. Hmm.....
Bingo you got it. It is a Pacer convertible with the Citation spear trim in the rear quarters.
OK, how do you identify it as a Pacer vs. a Citation??
Yea, I know, the properties of the pic says it's a Pacer.. But what are the differences visible in the pic that points to a Pacer? OH, and forget the antennas, I've seen the twins on both models.
The 58 Edsel Ranger and Pacer shared the Ford body and the Corsair and Citation shared the 58 Mercury Park Lane body and that was a lot bigger body than the regular Mercury.

Pacer, notice the front fenders are different around the end of the grills and also down the side. Also the cove in the rear quarters is smaller and more pointed on the Pacer. Very little will interchange between the Ranger/Pacer and the Corsair/Citation even though they look very close. The side grills and bumpers are four inches shorter than the big body and the same with the taillights, much longer on the Corsair and Citation. The only difference between the Corsair and the Citation was the spear trim in the quarters. They were exactly the same otherwise. The plastic dash knobs were grey in the Ranger and Pacer and cream color in the Corsair and Citation. Edsel didn't offer a large body station wagon but I think they should have used the big Merc HT wagon for their top model.

This is the Citation. Compare the front fenders for example.
Thank you, thank you very much.
It says "Pacer" on the front fender.
ok, I see the diff in the frt fender but still can't read badge, thanks.
LOL, John !
