Apart from firearms for recreational use and deactivated collector weapons outside of the military and also civilian police who themselves don't wear arms, licensed firearms among the general population in my country are not widely held. There are plenty of them though. Hand guns of any type are illegal and heavy fines and imprisonment can result if any individual is caught with such a weapon.
I don't and can't pose a personal threat to George or anybody else on the planet and nor would I ever want too.
I suppose that I could poke out my tongue and make a silly noise, but that is about the extent of any danger I am capable of.
The comment I made to George was one of whimsy. I imagined some imaginary individual holding a gun to the head of George insisting that he must like cars that he saw as being unlikeable.
A joke never works if it's not understood and the teller needs to attempt a long winded explanation to make the joke work.
Yet another reason why I like New Zealand Bruce. Btw... I definitely got that your comments (and George's) were meant in jest....as were mine.
We were all laughing with you, Bruce.
