but, as usual, I couldn't leave it alone. Just to see what it looked like, I've done a couple of photo edits.

As found:

41 Buick CV Full Custom Elegant PS (1)

Sectioned and bumpers removed, with narrower white walls:

41 Buick CV Full Custom Elegant PS (3)

And with the top down:

41 Buick CV Full Custom Elegant PS (2)

As always, comments are welcome and encouraged.

Enjoy!

As found for me. A friend of mine owns the Barris custom Buick in his collection.

The sectioning seems to make the body more symmetrical with the roof to me.

@bob-jackman: Bob, have you seen this actual car? Is the condition still excellent, and the paint as clear and deep as it appears? I'd love to see it and hear it run.

Terry, The last time I saw the car was about ten years ago in a friend's funeral procession and it still looked perfect. The current owner is Kirk McCormick who lives outside of St. Louis, Mo and all of his cars are maintained in immaculate condition.

@bob-jackman: Thanks, Bob. I've read about McKormick and know he's a collector of early, significant customs. I'm glad to hear that a car of this caliber is in his hands.
