PICS: A '50 Ford Coupe early full custom that appears to be sectioned, but not chopped. As was often the case, in the day.......

some tended to add rather subtract, frequently resulting in a beautifully customized car that was overshadowed by the trim and additions. I've taken several edits, just to see what they looked like. Bob Jackman, 'as found' here is the originally modified car, not a stocker.

As found:

50 Ford Coupe Full Custom Sectioned

Dechromed some with a slight top chop:

50 Ford Coupe Full Custom Sectioned PS1b1

Dechromed more and hard topped:

50 Ford Coupe Full Custom Sectioned PSHT

Sectioned more, given slightly more top chop and a roofline extension:

50 Ford Coupe Full Custom Sectioned PSHTSE1

As always, I will appreciate your observations.

Enjoy!

I like pic #3 the best by far.  The '56 Ford chrome trim looks kind of gaudy to me.

@jack-dodds Jack, I'm surprising myself but I actually like the 55 Fairlane trim in picture # 2.

@bob-jackman: You surprised me, as well. I did another edit with that side trim. What do you think?

@jkuvakas: with or without the '55 side trim?

Never really cared for the early Fords….to my eye the 1st decently styled one was the 56’

@tldaly I like the grill on this one better but prefer the two door post. So my answer is the one I voted for with this grill.
