and gets downright swoopy, when modified. The 'as found' custom is an actual Europe-based custom. The edits are mine.

The original:

66 Volvo P120 Coupe

As found, the custom:

66 Volvo P120 Full Custom HT (1)

With less wheel size, more tire, extended wheelbase and mild bodywork:

66 Volvo P120 Full Custom HT (2)

A bit more bodywork:

66 Volvo P120 Full Custom HT (3)

Final dechroming:

66 Volvo P120 Full Custom HT (4)

With respect to Jack Dodds and Bob Jackman, I believe you'll prefer the original.

To all, do you find any of the edits more compelling?

Enjoy!

Your edits are creative but as you surmised, I prefer the car as found. Personally I have a problem with those huge wheels and tires stuffed under the fender openings but some of the things you did do the body look nice. As usual original wins out for me.

@bob-jackman: Bob, I also dislike the oversized wheels and slim-sidewall tires. Note that the first change made was to reduce wheel size and increase tire sidewall width. The original car is nicely shaped and pleasing to the eye.

Personally, I like your custom approach, but do not like the elongated trunk.  It it was a little shorter, this would be cool.

Exactly what I was going to say Bob.  I just love this car; especially in 2dr. GT or station wagon form.
