I wished to see how a couple of discreet modifications looked, so:
As found:
A slight section, wheel diameter change and reduced tailpipe size:
A further section and hardtopped:
Do any of these appeal?

Both of your alternatives look great Terry. The last one with center post removed is my favorite.

@100ford2003: Not sure who you are, but I will offer this one, with the vent-a-ports, though I'm not a fan of them.
I've resized them slightly to match the sectioned body.

I actually like the downsized ports as it identifies the car to the average person and looks good!
