Here is an image from my Dad's files when Dodge was a client of his. Gee, I wonder what production car they actually released to the public for sale within a year or two ?

Thank goodness that front end was changed. Perhaps in 1964 this looked sleek & futuristic, but in 2023.... ..not so much. 🙄

Definitely the forerunner of the 66/67 Dodge Charger.  One of my favorites in the Dodge Line up.

I was 13 in '66 and absolutely loved the Charger !!!! It was just soooo cool looking to me.

But when the re-styled '68 appeared, I went absolutely crazy over it !

At my young age I couldn't believe how much it had changed. And, for the better I might add.

@100ford2003 It's fair to say that even without Bullitt's  (the movie) influence, the 1968 Charger, with its stunning looks/performance, raked C-pillars and Ferrari inspired taillights is the quintessential Dodge Charger. Even 2023 Chargers showcase 1968 styling cues!

Charg 68 3
Charg 68 1
Charg 68 2
