in the 1950's, particularly George Barris who used it several times in creating full customs from his California shop. I've always liked it, as well, and took some time recently to photo edit changes, just to see what they looked like.

As found:

46 Chevrolet Stylemaster PS (1)

Bumper cleaned up but the grill pretty much as found:

46 Chevrolet Stylemaster PS (2)

Edit 2:

46 Chevrolet Stylemaster PS (3)

Edit 3:

46 Chevrolet Stylemaster PS (4)

Edit 4:

46 Chevrolet Stylemaster PS (5)

Do any of them appeal to you?

Enjoy!

I'm guessing that this will not come as a surprise to anyone, but I like the as found version best.

I'm with you Bob.  Not in to most customizing of any sort.  So I prefer the "as found version" best.

I like the original best because that's my general perspective and I also LOVE this year and body style of Chevy.  From a customizer's viewpoint however,  I like all of the changes; especially pic 2.  This car lends itself well to such changes, as does the Ford.
