PICS: Here's many auto photos that speak more about the quality...........
of the pictures rather than the subject matter. I post them simply because they are beautiful photos.

Niece set of photos and cars. My favorite is the Yenko Nova
All the cars are beauts ! And for me.. It's the Thunderbird !! Thanks for all the pics !
"C" "D" "E" "F" great picture
Awesome pics...thanks. For me its the GTOs and the Yenko Nova.
Interesting that the one Mercury lead sled with the most decals is a right hand drive with Japanese plates (I think).
PICS: Not a right hand drive car and the scalloped exterior is painted, not decals.............

this is one of the nicest Mercury customs anywhere and was built and lives in Japan. Here's a photo of the car prior to finish paint.

I stand corrected. Beautiful job overall; imagine the paint cost!

Fine pictures, especially the background behind the Buick convertible!
Yeah, and tell me why someone would ruin a nice fender line with those stupid door edge guards. Does anybody really have those on their car? Really?
An XKE with white wall's. To some this is in its self a form of automotive heresy.
Some years back when I was re-powering my Series 2 Daimler Double Six with a 350 SBC V8, I was accosted by a boring old Jaguar fart who commenced to roundly remonstrate with me over the sacrilege this individual believed that I had committed. Having got into his stride over the Chevy V8 install he then set off to let me have his opinion concerning philistines like myself who "Americanized" their British cars in the face of well established British automobile traditions with their common absence of WW tires.
I said very little to the guy during his outraged sensibilities, but some friends who were helping me out that day broke out into hysterical laughter further enraging the Jag fan intruder.
Latter on I ordered a personalized plate DUBLE4 = V8. The original motor was a V12 - or Double Six as Daimler had badged this car model. A few months latter I took some degree of satisfaction in displaying my car at the local, British Car Day with its white walls, Chevy V8 and cheeky license plate. Here is the car that caused so much consternation.

A fine looking Jag!

Agree! Good swap with the engine too...Jaguar went through a period in the mid to late 70s when quality control was truly dreadful. A pal of my father's had a V12 and in the end swapped it for a Renault 25 as the garage was seeing more of the car than he was. On top of that the V12 isn't particularly rare so in my view a mod like this is quite sensible.
Not so keen on the E Type with whitewalls either, or that oval chrome bar...
Yellow wasn't a popular colour over here but it wears it reasonably well. I'm all for the classic Carmine Red with tan interior, or British Racing Green with Suede Green. What a traditionalist!!
Agree about the whitewalls and oval bar....don't mess with design perfection! Love your color preferences and would add dark blue with light grey interior.
