XK120 design makes the other look chunky IMO. I may be biased.....

The Jag has been a favorite for years, but the Alfa has glass placement pretty far advanced for 1952. Very interesting.

Wouldn't walk across a street to look at either of them.

Although neither of these two offered the reliability of American cars the Jaguar was better at it than the notoriously unreliable Alfa. Even so, I do prefer the XK anyway.

I know a car hop from the fifties, George, who I also know would be bound to change your mind, if you let her.
Be allright if she now showed up braless with her teeth back home in a tumbler?

Never fear, George, the tattoo on her butt that reads, "Welcome to San Pedro, Sailor" is removable. It washes off, although I dont think anybody as tried to for a while, but with some sweet talking, not much will do, I'm confident that she will allow you to, George, she's that kinda gal.

That's interesting David, I never would have thought of that. The Europeans have often been willing to take design risks.

Wonder what it would cost to replace a broken windshield.

XK120 every time. However, it's commonly acknowledged..

that this Alfa was the inspiration for the E Type and it's not difficult to see why.

I'm pretty sure the windows are perspex not glass...

after all, this was a racing machine and glass would have added considerably to the weight. However, it's possible that subsequent restoration in recent times has included new glass screen and rear window.

Sure, I can see that, now you point that out. Talk about the bleedin' obvious, eh, mate?
