No Don, ugly is not a dumb word either. As I attempted to point in a post above on this thread, some folks are just not mature enough and secure within themselves to understand that what one man sees as beauty, another may see as ugly.
Now that said, I'd never advocate telling another man that his wife is ugly, as that would certainly be inappropriate and hurtful. Obviously, discretion needs to be in place to not hurt people.
But when we're talking about cars, we should all be secure enough to share our feelings and not have someone get all pushed out of shape that we don't agree on the car.
If more people in the world could understand this, our world wouldn't be hostile.
