When Britain had a contest in 2018 to name its newest British Antarctic Survey ship, the most popular name suggested via an internet survey was RRS BOATY McBoatface.

The very-unlikely-to-be-named RRS Boaty McBoatface would join the British Antarctic Survey’s two other research vessels, RRS Ernest Shackleton and RRS James Clark Ross.

The ship was eventually named Sir David Attenborough in 2019.

This deep accumulation of crystalized verbiage is causing us to drift from the main subject.

@john-barry, the great thing about poutine is that it sticks with you for a loooong time.

I heard the crowd that attended was in the hundreds....the seating went on furrows.  It was nice to see them share poutine; apparently it went off without a hitch and lasted till midnight or sew.
